Helvellyn - Striding Edge

Standing at 950m high, Helvellyn is England's third highest mountain. It is also home to one of the best ridge walks in the country. On your ascent you are treated superb panoramas of the Helvellyn Massif, looking across to Catstye Cam, Nethermost Pike and Swirral Edge.
This classic walk takes you along Striding Edge before descending via Swirral Edge. Under the friendly and experienced supervision of our Leaders & Guides you will be able to enjoy the exhilarating and memorable day out.

Is it for me?
This walk is ideal for individuals or small groups who are looking for a brilliant day on the mountain. This can be a moderately challenging walk and you must have a moderate level of fitness to participate.
Difficulty - Moderate scrambling and exposure
Distance - 7 miles 930m ascent
Duration - 6 hours

Rock Climbing fun taster experience

Want to give you friends or family an adventure to remember? Come and have a go Rock Climbing on the crags of the Lake District the birthplace of Rock Climbing in England.

Is it for me?
This day is ideal for anyone wanting a fun time and trying something new. No climbing experience is required, and all kit and equipment will be provided.

Start and Finish
The ½ day morning will begin at 9.15am - 12.30pm or an afternoon session runs 1pm - 4.15pm
We aim to head into the Langdale Valley, but other locations may be used in poor weather

Lake District Wild Camping Experience

Why not celebrate a totally new experience by climbing a mountain in the stunning scenery of The Lake District which delivers some wonderful, charming views during the daytime but also offers some equally amazing dark starry skies. This wild camping weekend starts with a superb Lakeland walk before spending an evening wild camping in the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding fells. Pitch tents then head up for a sunset view from a nearby summit away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.
In the morning after some breakfast and a coffee we will pack up Leaving No Trace and take a gentle walk down to our finish point.

Enjoy all of this under the guidance and support of a very experienced leader with lots of local knowledge and enthusiasm of the Lakeland Fells.

This weekend is ideal for individuals or small groups who are looking for a brilliant time in the mountains. A moderate level of fitness is required.

Start and finish Meet and greet in Staveley, 12 pm with the aim of being back in Staveley for 12 pm the following day. Upon booking a full outline of the day's agenda, itinerary and kit list will be emailed out to you.

Scafell Pike from Seathwaite

Scafell Pike is England's highest Mountain. Standing at 978m this is popular mountain for the reason it must be up there as one of Britain's Best view. It has spectacular scenery and on clear days gives views across to the Lake District National Park and even across to the Isle of Man. This walk takes the Corridor route which takes you through a setting that feels like the land that time forget. With crags, tarns, ghylls and big mountains all around this is a picturesque way up without the exposure.

Scafell Pike is a walk that is ideal for individuals or small groups who are looking for a brilliant day on the mountain. This can be a reasonably challenging walk and you must have a moderate level of fitness to participate.
Difficulty - Reasonably hard with limited exposure
Distance - 8miles 960m ascent
Duration - 6 hours
